The Consilium Voyage Data Recorders are built and designed on one of the most innovative and flexible platform on the market.
The system meets all relevant requirements of the IMO standards and EU directives, i.e. IMO performance standard A.681 (20), IEC 61996, IEC61996-2 (Amendment for S-VDR), IEC 60945 and IEC 68-2-27 part two and is also equipped with wheel mark.

VDR – an innovative and flexible, our 4th generation, Voyage Data Recorder. A state of the art reliable VDR, with its focus on a very fast and easy installation for new buildings
S-VDR - Simplified Voyage Data Recorder – a modular S-VDR fully equipped, way over market standard. Consilium standard S-VDR Includes -inputs and options like:
- 16 NMEA inputs, 4 NMEA outputs
- 12 Audio cannels
- 2 integrated Speed Log interfaces
- Radar and AIS inputs
The system are tailored to meet, and exceed, the retrofit market demands and with a potential to cover any customer specific requirement without costly re-design. PSU – Power Supply Unit FRM – Final Recording Medium. Approved Memory Capsule SCU – System Control Unit. The remote control display is equipped with alarm/warning codes and 32 characters text message via super LED. The system is easy manoeuvrable from this bridge surface mounted very thin and solid panel, measuring only 16 mm VDP – Efficient and user-friendly replay analysing system for investigation and evaluation of incidents and accidents. Able to show graphs and histogram, display data in four different default views and with a possibility to a "split window" mode. Consilium AM1 – a fully type approved microphone with solid marine design, which can operate in the roughest environment, indoor as well as outdoors (IP66 Classed) FRM - Final Recording Medium.
